Hi.  My name is Gary and I am fairly new to online marketing.  Definitely new to the part where you get visitors,(traffic) and make money.  I have a blog thaat I post articles to fairly frequently (hxxp: www. garyhazlittblogspot. com) and i have lots of different links attached to it.  I also have a domain name, but I haven't figurd out how to get it up and running with links and use it to my advantage.  It is currently parked.  I advicee on my blog direction and visitors.  I drive a truck long distance and can usually only devote some hours to the compputer on weekends.  I don't want todrive truck.  PLease HELP.

Hi From Las Vegas NV.

Brad West I live in Las Vegas NV. with my wife, daughter, and my best friend Zed. No not the Zed from Pulp Fiction, Zed is my 25 lb., black and white long hair, 17.5 inches at the shoulder, Jack Russell terrier, From England.

I have been in marketing since 1984 I have been on the internet long enough to adapt to the dynamics and excel. But the basics are the same Networking and relationships create Love, Trust, & Money. Along with my relationship with mostly MLM marketing some of my background is the following.

I have a hotel management and culinary arts degree I obtained that from Johnson & Wales College in 1979.

I have been in construction management for 18 years. A majority of that time I was a General Contractor.

I have also been marketing for 24 years, internet marketing is fairly new to me. I have an Old school MLM background, and it still works.

I took a year off in 1998 to challenge my brain a little and obtained a Massage License and national certification at Seattle Massage School in Fife WA.

My desire and energy right now is focused on networking, building and supporting communities here on the net. My Goal is to Empower the impoverished working class.

Sheryl Loch and I are co-creators of The Internet Marketers Guild, Soon to be public. We are a brainstorming Community that we spend most of our time reading and researching for to keep abreast of the latest and greatest, Brainstorming together we have twisted some things and actually come out ahead of the trends.

Hello to everyone on this board!

Just registered to the new forum and wanted to say a quick "Hi!"

I remember when the forum was using that old-fashioned-hierarchy-styled CGI script (Matt's Script I think).  I was a pretty regular visitor and poster back then. . .  the early 00's that is.  I believe I haven't been here since 2003 - I got into a completely different direction from this forum's subject so I slowly started to forget to visit it.  It did seem much more active back then though.

Anyways - I'm back into direct response IM so I thought I'd stop by and pay you guys a visit and bring back some of the spirit from those days :)

Hi folks.   I've just been through several years of re-evolution.   Got laid off from an analyst/programmer position due to illness in 2k and took up driving as a stop gap since I did not keep my skills current at that time.   Drove a station wagon, car and minivan for about 3. 5 years and for the last 4. 5 years a 24 ft box truck.   Since I was burned out anyway, I decided to re-evolve in my own time doing something that didn't really demand that much of me.   But now it's eating way too much of my time.   The pay has slowly come down and the time requirements have slowly increased.   This is not my idea of moving forward (or even remaining static).   I'm in backwards motion and I know the internet is the key to my re-dedication towards a forward and upward motion.

I joined a couple of mlms and one internet direct marketing program during the past three year period and did not put in the time or apply the skills to manage them well enough to strike gold.   Laid them all down about 6 months ago and have just been doing research on the best, current, free systems and techniques for internet marketing.   I've run into several of the high priced/pre-packaged/turnkey type systems currently available and have picked up some usable ideas from these, but my real goal is to become one of them, start and maintain the enterprise with minimum outlay ($0 if possible) and build it into a business that will support increasing expenses that yield more profit in less time.   Once I hit on teh right formula that works well, then teach it.   I think too many people are in need these days not to help them have a roof over their heads, food on the table and productive things to do with their time.

Have some good ideas for marketing systems using current technology readily available here and am confident I can use them to design and program a system or systems to leverage manual procedures into automated processes that only require a few minutes per day to run.   I may be naive, but I don't think so (I have been designing and writing software automation products since 1982).   For me it's just a matter of identifying where it can be applied and how to apply it to leverage time consuming manual processes into an automated system to manage and maintain multiple streams of marketing and subsequent income (probably affiliate programs for the time being).

Would just like to replace my current income with strictly web activity related income so that I can focus more on marketing out of my home office than on technical, time consuming issues.   Working from the comfort of my own home office (or wherever I happen to have an internet connection for my laptop) is my goal.   Please tell me what you think.   I'd appreciate it.   Thanks.
