Well having worked with the corporate world for over 30 years now I would disagree that they are the same in their decision making as other people. I have done many hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of contracts for everything from paper clips for the Navy to fuel and oils for fighter jets, to video players for a hundred offices, and if I saw something like that I would click off immediately.

Maybe I am the different one.

I must have also missed the demographics as all the mining and drilling I have been involved in is very much run by big business people and the drillers and foremen would not even be involved in looking on the web for anything.

Of course if you are dealing with the small speculators then yes they would be looking.

Progress!

First of all, thanks for the continuing comments and ideas. Martin - that was great. You an Aussie by any chance?

Had a meeting today. On the way there I was mulling over the sample in a sachet deal, stapled to a direct mail piece, sent to their prospects. Thanks again Brad

Apparently they've just done a very successful trial with one of the big boys in onshore drilling, which revealed brilliant savings, right there on the spot, as a direct result of using just one of the products. It really was a "watch what happens when I pour this bucket of goop into this pipe" kind of thing!

At the meeting,  I saw a handful of spreadsheets and graphs which clearly told the story.

Need to check on whether we're allowed to put the stuff in little baggies, or if there's some safety issues (chemicals etc).

What I can see is a direct mail pieced based around "see this brown goop in this baggie? THIS is what it did, just last week for a major underground diamond drilling company... etc"

Now we're getting somewhere
