If you would like to sell your ebooks sincerely, prepare a landing page.  To prepare a landing page, purchase a domain and insert a few paragraphs of your ebook and beneath the text, place a contact Form.  It would be great if you could allow your ebook to be downloaded by the visitor.  But make sure, the downloaded ebook should contain few pages but not a complete ebook.  Due to this, visitors would have a chance to read your ebook and if they are impressed, they would provide their contact details in the contact form and purchase the ebook.

Please note that, once you've prepared a landing page, it should be promoted well in targeted markets.  I suggest, Social Networks and Adwords (both Google and Yahoo) would be the right choice.

Yes, you can do without a website.  But with a website, you can brand yourself.  There are a few ways.

Do offline joint venture and become a jv broker.  Or you can sign up for emails, surveys or etc programs though not recommended as most are low quality.  Advice to walk away from these.

Another way is to join a freelance writer, video or photo creator.  There are a few sites that offer such services.  Selling content, videos and photos are great way.

You can also get revenue from metacafe through videos posted if it is popular.

It is recommended that you should have a website if you need to market your own ebooks. I mean you have to host them somewhere, for people to download it.

Nevertheless, in case you just simply cant afford to have a website, just create a FREE pdf report , promoting your book, send it out thru email to people asking them to respond to you on your email if they want to purchase it. If the report is compelling enough, people wont mind writing back to you to have it.Keep the cost low, so that price is not a barrier for those who want to have it

 Also you can build some exclusiveness to it by saying that you are exposing your book only to a limited few so that you have some good reviews and testimonials for it before you finally launch it to general public. That's one strategy you could apply to make it sound authentic, promoting it without a sales page.

Much better if you can put up a blog.  You can get a free  blog on blogger. com.  It's free easy to use no need to know complicated programming language for those people who's not into programming.  Then create an account in paypal. com go to there merchant services and you can start up your own blog selling your ebooks.  Paypal has a merchant tools in it all you need to do is copy the code given by paypal then put it in your blog and you can now start selling your ebooks.  That's how simple it works. .

There are ample resources on the net to begin getting exposure. 

Getting your own domain should really be a must if you want to truly make it online.  Building a wordpress blog/site is quite easy even though it does look daunting. 

Once you have your site look to use the power of clickbank to market it.  Which ever avenue you take you will be looking at a steep learning curve, so better to do it properly and build somthing that will last, rather than somthing that maybe gone tomorrow.

One of the main reasons you should focus on having your own site is that you own it.  No one but you can edit it, or bring it down.  Creating web 2 sites or relying on PPC are ok but you are limited by the owners of the services.

Squidoo, hubpages, wetpaint etc are excellent for ranking in the search engines and should really be built as a support network for your main money page/site.

Another thing you should consider if you build your own site is the power of RSS sites, like feedbite. com or feedagg. 

Learn to build your own online presence with a website, it is worth the time and effort, it's gives you credibility and branding.  There are very few successfull marketers out there who don't have they're own website.

You can promote them through other websites, but you would need some kind of blog or website for the potential buyers to go to so that they can pay and download the ebook.  Even if you promote your books through other sites you will need a site to click to otherwise you will have to give each site a copy of the book to distribute.

Affiliate Marketing is the way to go.   Then you don't have the upkeep of your own website.    Another company I belong to besides Clickbank is Commission Junction.   Give them a try.

some people sell there produce using adwords but i think the use of mailing list is the best for now.  this enables u to capture the email address of all the people that are interested in ur product.  it may also be used to market another product to them next time
