Over the last few years I have seen a huge increase in the video market to help promote and distribute products and for some it comes easy and others not quite so easy.

If you don't have a camera or like me your mug shot could break a 1000 mirrors then there is an alternative.

There are a number of Slide Share programs that have sprung up that allow you to take a powerpoint presentation and and then if you like add a narration which is then compiled into a video format like youtube and the other public video sites.

You can then embed this in your blog or webpage.

For product descriptions, promotions, even tutorials etc it is a fantastic way to make videos  without the huge expense of having to use a camera.

First of all, wanted to say a quick hello. I don't think I've seen you since Denver in '05...

Second, thanks for a great post.  What software or site created your slide show below?  And do you know a few others you could post here in this thread for others?

One of the main presentation tools around is powerpoint
but if you do a search on http://www.webattack.com
you find some free and paid software for doing these type
of videos.

I just used powerpoint or a 4 day period to create a brand new
product and all it took was me sitting on my backside rambling
on about stuff, brilliant. lol
