Isn't blogging time consuming?  I never know what to write about and then when I give it a try I end up spending a lot of time in front of my computer.  Is it worth it to blog as far as making money at it?

blogging is not time consuming, infact it is very easy and straight forward. i have made money from blogs. spend more time and u will see that its okay

Yup, sometimes blogging can be time consuming, well if you found yourself not in the mood to write any post or do anything about your blog, I suggest that you just stop blogging for a while and spend some time and fun with your family or friends. Then if you think your in good condition to blog then you can proceed doing it..Its just a matter of spending your time wisely..

yes it is. . but as long as you are having fun in blogging it doesn't matter if it takes your time or not. . .  :D

I have always had trouble writing and I guess that is why it can be so time consuming for me.   We all have different level of writing skills.    I guess the biggest problem I have is knowing what to write about.  Anyone have any ideas on topics I could write about?

Maybe you can buy some PLR articles and rewrite them. so you have a unique content that you can post to your blog.

Currently, i am using this method for my blog post as i have the same problem with you. Difficulty in writing.
My English is not very good. So making use of PLR articles can assist me to write for my blog.

Its worth it if you are going to keep it going and try to make some money from it, if the likely hood of quitting after a few months is strong then NO, you are just wasting your time.

I think it's just time consuming for beginners like me and i admit that it's one of my difficulties, time management. . . but I know I'll be used to it.  At this moment, i find it fun and enjoyable.

It's time consuming, if you don't really like what you're writing about.  But if you're blogging about one of your interests, then writing about it should come naturally and you'll actually look forward to spend some time writing on your blog.

writing an entry for your blog can only be time consuming if the topic you're writing about doesn't fall within your interest at all.  But if what you're writing about is something that is of your interest then you won't find it that hard.  You can even write 5 articles within an hour.

Yes its time consuming but some do it for fun and some do it for earning money and if you do it for money then definitely to earn money you need to give time to it.

No. If you want to make money then sign up for an affiliate program or join up a free lancing portal where you can take up projects. Via blogging it is hard to make up decent earning in a short span of time. It would take a lot of time before you reach such a stage.

A blog is a tool when it comes to an online business, plain and simple.  The time it takes to "blog" is better thought of an investment in building an asset that will help market a business (for these purposes).

Thinking of "making money from blogging" to me is challenging proposition...a blog is a tool, and part of a business...but not the whole business model.

One idea that has been recommended, is sit down and write 3 or 4 articles, then schedule them in wordpress as to what days you want them to post on. That way you free up your time for other things, the blog gets updated like it should be if you want to attract visitors and works out much better doing it this away.

If you have the onlywire and twitter plugins installed, those post will also be sent automatically so that also frees you up from manually doing that as well.

Blogging is time consuming for me, especially if I don't like what I'm writing about or I was paid to do it.  I'm a writer and I sometimes find it tedious to write in my blog, what more if I wasn't a writer and writing was difficult for me.
