-I've seen on several packages "You could be a winner! No purchase necessary.  Details inside"
-on a clothing iron "never iron clothes while they are being warn" (ok, really. . . who'd done this?)
-on a sleep-aid package "may cause drowsiness" umm. . DUH?
-on a chainsaw "do not attempt to stop the blade with your hand" (again, they wouldn't put these on there unless some half-wit hadn't tried this)

The hair dryer I got had one that said, "Do not use while sleeping".

My mom bought a ladder and it was positively festooned with warning stickers.

The one I remember most was "Do not place ladder feet in manure pile." or something very similar.  The sad thing is that obviously someone, somewhere had thought it was a good idea to prop the ladder up on a pile of manure...

It also said "Keep ladder away from tires."  That one is still really cryptic to me.  And of course the classic "Ladder should not be moved while occupied."  Um, yeah.

I bought a pack of candles once that warned "Candles may become hot after being lit."  An underarm deodorant I once used said "Do not apply to eyes."   Cause, naturally, I am concerned about offensive eye odor.  And at a place I worked, they had to issue a bulletin and put stickers on all the microwaves that said "Caution! Soup may become hot after microwaving."

well it's not a warning, but i think it's pretty funny.  .  .   it's on some snack i saw in the store, on bold letters it says 'NO MSG', but if you inspect the ingredients it says > .  .  .   shredded pork, salt, msg.  .  .

I didn't see this myself, but a friend posted a picture of it on her blog.  Someone bought a hat and inside the hat box was instructions on HOW TO WEAR A HAT.    Totally a "duh?" moment.  There was even an illustration of a hat on a man's leg and a man's arm with Xs over them indicating that those are NOT the ways to wear a hat!
