I sure did when I decided to cancel my monthly membership.

They make you call a phone number to cancel. The number is only manned M-F during the day.

That is where the fun begins. The person answering the phone wanted to know if I was an American. This question came at the beginning and came out of the blue.

It's almost worth joining and then cancelling just to experience the unusual method of customer service.

Before long, after I asked him if I could just cancel without answering his odd questions, he called me a couple four-letter names and an a******. I'm not making this up. Apparently he is saving the world, and my cancellation was going to interfere with his plans.

At one point, I just set the phone down while he kept talking for two minutes explaining how the world was in great danger. I picked the phone back up, and he was still preaching. So I hung up the phone.

He called me a few minutes later and started to leave what might have been a continuation of his need to save the world and my failure to be a part of it. Finally, I picked up the phone and told him never to call my number again.

LOL!... looks like a ad exchange scheme... one based around the "government is evil, media is evil" premise...

I, in my opinion, wouldn't touch it with a 200 ft. pole...

Yes, they do make you call them if you want to cancel your account.

I joined Pyrabang out of curiosity.   When I realised that their top right widget wasn't giving any credits to members who were clicking them (recommending and UPPING URLs so they become more valuable in terms of credits), I gave them my feedback.   At the same time I corrected an administrator when he said MLMs were illegal pyramids (not all are considered illegal).

This is when the CEO was rude to me.   Seem to be saying that it's with ppl like me who won't succeed blah blah.   I demanded an apology failing which I would go public with their incompetency.   Administrator number 2 wrote to me (apologised) and the CEO replied to say the administrator # 1 has been fired.   Administrator #2 feedbacked to me to say the matter (widgets) were resolved.

The other thing that bugged me was the inability to really withdraw money (you first had to convert any remaining 'advertising" credits you had to $ value first).   For eg.   Pyrabang was at liberty to state (at any time) when 2000 credits meant $5 or $4.   Each time I tried to withdraw money, I found myself actually TOPPING UP my pyrabang account.   (I topped up twice instead of withdrawing money).

I easily solved the subscription problem by cancelling my card that was linked to paypal.   They were not answering my questions abt selling my account back to them.

I've learned my lesson.   Anything to do with Chris Prillilo (exact spelling may be wrong as I am quite bad at remembering names and domain names sometimes), do avoid!!

It was trippy, that's for sure. As I recall the person on the other end of the line brought up Nazis. Maybe he called me one, I'm not sure. Certifiable.
