I think that could be a tricky question to answer.

I can tell you about an MLM company named Xango.

In the first 5 years they made 1 billion in sales.

So it is highly succesfull. Right ?

Well that depends if you talking about the Company or it's

distributers.  You see...the company made 1 billion is sales the first

5 years. But over 90% of their  distributers failed.

MLM is a viable way to make money. I'm all for MLM or Networking.

It's very easy to do on paper. A simple plan.

But in real life it takes a lot of work to build your down line.

You have to be willing to put your time and money into your bussiness

for a long period of time before  you see any real profits.

That's just the cold hard facts. Most folks are not prepared for that kind of

commitment. Most folks want the money fast with a little amount of work.

In MLM you have to do a lot of work and you will not make a lot  money right away.

Plus when you pick a MLM company to work with. It might take you a couple years

to see just how good the pay out is.  You just might decide after a couple years of

of hard work building a down line  that its just not worth it.

Not trying to discourage you . Just sharing my observations that i came up with.

I still think Networking is a good thing. Just ignore the company training and use

a squeeze page instead to get your leads.  But if you do that your upline will concider

you not a team player. So you have to ask yourself. Am I going to be a company team

player or am I going to make some money ?

I agree with Davet.  However, network marketing in general hold a high failure rate.  If you're looking for stability, look for the company thats been around for a while.  I kind of actually dont like new start ups.  A lot of companys fail as well.  They go bankrupt and close before you have chance to get your business cards from snail mail.  Go with the tried and true businesses and leave the rest alone.   :)

Find one with at least 5 years and above. As they are more established and have more members. You might think that if there are so many people joining the company, why should i join? Too competitive. But how many people will succeed in the end?

Signal, not noise. Light, not heat.

It really does depend on whom you're talking to and how authoritative that source is. Or how much of a vested interest they have.

I remember one high-profile company loudly touting the fact that they came #1 in a particular magazine survey. The only problem was that your ranking in the survey depended on how much money you paid the magazine... and out of the so-called Top 20 companies, FIVE were no longer in business by the time the magazine published the results.

Dig deeper. Take nothing at face value. There are good opportunities out there, but they tend to be hard to find.

The best ones pay you more money, in less time, with fewer people needed.

I have to agree with what has already been said it depends on who you talk to I am sure that everyone who answers believe their company is #1 as they should I would not argue any other point because I would do the same.
