Hi Guys,

Yahoo are going to implementing semantic search very shortly.     

It's been chicken and egg so far.      People won't add semantic tags in their pages because no-one indexs or uses them.      And search engines don't use them because no-one has implemented them on their sites.   

Looks like Yahoo is taking the initiative.

Stuart...

The link doesn't show up correctly because of a little "anti-spam" feature we have installed to stop "drive-by" spammers... you need 5 posts on the board before the links start working correctly... so far the modification has been working exactly how we wanted it to, it's stopped several spammers cold and made their efforts useless (when we find that they've spammed we nuke the post and their account, so they have to start all over again... LOL!)

I've gone ahead and fixed your link for you... now all you need is 3 more posts and you're golden!  blake

I think Adobe AIR fits the model of web 3 as discussed.  With applications like twhirl being a prime example of it's use.

Anyone think if other examples? Examples clarify a concept like nothing else.

To me, the web is about getting information when I need it. It's a medium.

Just surprised that with the evolving tech toys like the iphone, web pages that are served on cell phones have not really caught on. Anyone know any good website that are served specifically for cell phone users?
